Man dies after shooting on Monastery Avenue in SW Baltimore
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Sunday night, a 47-year-old male was shot on Monastery Avenue in Southwest Baltimore and later died, according to City of Baltimore Police.
At approximately 7:00 p.m., officers were called to 200 S. Monastery Avenue for a reported shooting.
Officials say that when officers arrived at the scene they found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
