Man struck by car in Ellicott City dies overnight
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WBFF) -- Howard County Police say a man has died after being struck by a car while walking along an Ellicott City road Wednesday morning.
Police say at around 10:15 p.m. a Fiat 500 was traveling westbound on Baltimore National Pike near N. Chatham Road when it struck the man. The man was taken to Shock Trauma with critical injuries where he died overnight.
Police say the driver of the car, a 27-year-old male, and the passenger, a 24-year-old male, were uninjured and remained at the scene. No other cars were involved.
Police say the pedestrian was not in crosswalk when he was struck, but the investigation is ongoing.
