Man dies nearly 10 years later, as a result of 2007 shooting

BALTIMORE (WBFF) – A man who was shot in Baltimore nearly 10 years ago has died from injuries he sustained in a triple shooting.

Baltimore City homicide detectives were notified of his death on September 23, 2016. Detectives were informed that Terry Wells was in the intensive care unit for several days prior to his death. Autopsy results released by the State Medical Examiner’s Office in March determined that the cause of death was related to the injuries he sustained in the shooting.

Wells, 29, of Derby Manor was one of three shot on April 1, 2007 on Loyola Northway near Pall Mall Road. According to police at the time of the shooting, Wells was in a comma for several days and was listed in critical condition.

At the time of the shooting three suspects Dishon Cohen, 27, Kevin Davis, 28 and Theodore Spencer 30 were charged with three counts of attempted Murder.

Detectives are currently working with the States Attorney’s Office for an amendment of charges.
