Tractor-trailer fire snarls morning commute
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WBFF) -- Maryland Transportation Authority officials say all lanes of northbound I-95 near the 695 exit have reopened after being closed for several hours Tuesday due to a tractor-trailer fire.
The fire was reported just before 5a.m., despite the massive damage to the truck, no injuries were reported. No other vehicles were involved.
Traffic was diverted to the express toll lanes while crews cleaned up.
The toll fee on the northbound express lanes was lifted.
Commuters used alternates routes US 40, MD 7 and US 1. Southbound I-95 lanes were not impacted.
