Police continue search for suspects in Aberdeen shooting

Aberdeen police are continuing to search for two suspects who fired several shots at a man on Darlington Avenue last week on April 13. (WBFF)

ABERDEEN, Md. (WBFF) -- Aberdeen police are continuing to search for two suspects who fired several shots at a man on Darlington Avenue last week on April 13.

Police say Perry Raymond Stokes, 19 was returning home when he was approached by two unidentified males while exiting his vehicle. As the two approached they opened fire striking the victim twice, police say.

He was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, he was released after medical treatment.

Police need to the public's assistance in identifying the suspects and their getaway vehicle.

The two suspects were able to flee the scene in a vehicle staged a few blocks away. Witnesses on scene believe that the vehicle was a silver Toyota Carolla or Ford Taurus with tinted windows, late 90's model with a red finder and dark wheels/rims.
