Man charged with attempted murder in Annapolis shooting
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF)-- A suspect has been arrested and charged with attempted murder and a slew of other charges after a man was shot in Anne Arundel County Friday.
Kedrick Sylvester Tooles, 26, of Severn faces charges of first and second-degree assault, first and second-degree murder, reckless endangerment, wear to carry firearm, firearm use in a violent crime, CDS possession of marijuana, assault to an officer as well as possession of a firearm after being convicted of a disqualifying crime, according a statement released by the police.
Tooles is accused of shooting Corey Holland in the abdomen shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday near Tyler Avenue in Annapolis. After several calls were made with descriptions of the suspect police and the AFD Marshall were able to subdue Tooles without injury.
According to police, Tooles is also a suspect in the Copeland Street shooting. This shooting happened about 20 minutes prior. Police found Traymont Wiley suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. He was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma.
Tooles is currently being held without bail.
