Police: Man gunned down in SW Baltimore over on-going dispute; person of interest ID'd

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- A 53-year-old man was killed after being shot in the chest early Friday morning in Southwest Baltimore.

City officers were called to Bloomfield Avenue near Benson Avenue around 4:00 a.m. on May 12, where they found the male shooting victim.

The man, identified as Vincent Curtis, 53, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. He was taken to Shock Trauma where he died just around 5:00 a.m.

Investigators learned that incident started due to an ongoing argument between the victim and another man, resulting in the fatal shooting of Curtis.

A person of interest has been identified, police confirm.
