Police identify suspect accused of taking "selfies" on stolen iPad
BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Police on Tuesday morning announced they were looking for a juvenile who burglarized a home in East Baltimore on May 12.
Police say the suspect broke into the home on S. East Avenue near E. Baltimore Street and stole several electronics and other property.
According to police, the suspect took “selfies” on the victim’s stolen iPad and the photos were automatically uploaded to the victim’s iCloud account.
Detectives released one of the "selfie" photos on Tuesday and asked anyone with information to call (410) 396-2422, or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
Later Tuesday afternoon police announced they had identified the suspect, and found that he was an adult, not a juvenile.
No further details were released.
