Police seek details on 61-year-old suspect in shooting of Baltimore teen
BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Police are searching for a 61-year-old man wanted in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy in West Baltimore.
Investigators say the suspect is Thomas Bradley and they’re asking for the public’s help to find him.
Police have released a photo of Bradley from a previous arrest a few years ago.
“When we have a situation where an adult, 61-year-old man, takes out a gun and shoots a 15-year-old, this is someone that we need off the street," said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a Baltimore Police Department spokesman.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon on Ashburton Street near W. Lafayette Avenue.
Detectives say Bradley shot the teen in the chest. The boy survived.
Police say the victim was involved in an argument with Bradly, who pulled a gun and shot the boy.
“When I heard that it was him and I heard what happened, I was shocked,” said Kevin Scroggins, a friend of the victim. “It’s a senseless act and being an adult that he is, the 61-year-old adult that he is, that situation could have been handled a lot more better."
Police have asked that anyone with any information about Bradley call 911.
