Police: Two attending house party killed in murder-suicide
Two men were found dead in a home in Edgewater Friday in what police are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide.
Anne Arundel County Police resounded to the 300 block of Dawnwood Drive just before 11 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived they located two adult males, both dead from gunshot wounds.
According to police, the suspect 45-year-old Russel Robert Ramey lived at the location. Police state Ramey, shot 24-year-old Devin Alexander Hayes then turned the gun on himself.
Further investigation revealed the two were attending a party inside of Ramey's garage.
The Anne Arundel County Police Homicide unit is investigating and says there is no continuing threat to the community.
Both the suspect's and victim's bodies will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
