Shooting on Monastery Avenue in SW Baltimore turns deadly
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Wednesday evening, a man was shot in the back in the Southwest District and later died at an area hospital, according to City of Baltimore Police.
Police say at approximately 5:30 p.m, officers were called to the 200 N. Hilton Street for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his back.
Detectives say the victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators believe the victim was at 200 Monastery Avenue when he was shot.
Homicide detectives are still investigating this incident.
