BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WBFF) - A traffic stop in Brooklyn Park led to one arrest on Monday night.

According to police, detectives were conducting surveillance in the area of 4th Street and Highland Avenue around 10 p.m. when they saw a black Infiniti Q45 drive past a stop sign without stopping. A traffic stop followed, and investigators say a drug canine alerted detectives to the presence of drugs.

Detectives searched the driver and found a plastic bag containing 28 gelatin capsules of suspected heroin, 13 clear baggies containing suspected crack cocaine, and four baggies containing suspected marijuana, police said.

Robin Tanequa Edwards, 24, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute and related charges.

The arrest was announced on Wednesday.
