Teen charged in Severna Park road rage incident
Severna Park, Md. (WBFF) -- Police say a 17-year-old has been charged with assault after a road rage incident in Severna Park.
Police say officers responded to the Kohl’s parking lot on Ritchie Highway on Monday at 11: 49 a.m. for reports of an assault in progress. Officers met with two drivers that were involved in a road rage incident that began on northbound Ritchie Highway near College Parkway.
Police say the two pulled into the parking lot and confronted each other. During the confrontation, James Aaron Soliman pulled out a folding knife and cut the other driver in the upper arm, police say.
Soliman has been charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and weapons violations.
Police say the injured driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment and released with a minor wound.
