Three people shot in East Baltimore on Sunday evening

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- On Sunday evening, 3 people were shot on North Chester Street and Jefferson Street by an unknown male gunman who discharged a firearm in the area, according to City of Baltimore Police.

At about 6:19 p.m., when officers arrived to investigate the reported shooting, they discovered a 25-year-old male shot in the leg, as well as an 18-year-old shot in the buttocks.

Medics transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment.

A third victim, a 46 year-old female, walked into an area hospital suffering from a graze wound to the torso.

Citywide Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.

Detectives learned that an unknown male gunman began discharging a firearm in the block striking the victims.
