Waiting for the Light| Thousands Remain Without Power
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Out-of-state utility crews are joining in the race to restore power to hundreds of Maryland homes.
As of 10 p.m. Wednesday, just more than 2,000 customers were still without power.
At 11am Thursday, the outage map showed just under 1,300.
Some of the outages were in Roland Park, where Friday’s storm toppled a tree and brought down utility lines on Indian Lane.
“So what did I get accomplished today? Nothing, to tell you the truth," said Sally Foster, who was walking her dog through Roland Park on Wednesday.
In Homeland, some 30 customers have been without power since Friday, but some neighbors prepared.
“We packed the refrigerator and just hunkered down,” said Jamie Seward.
Crews arrived in Homeland Wednesday night to begin restoring power.
