CBS lawyer fired for social media comment on country music fans
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--A CBS lawyer has reportedly been relieved of her duties for comments allegedly posted from her Facebook account related to the massacre in Las Vegas.
In a screenshot shared by FOX News and being circulated on social media, Geftman-Gold allegedly stated she was "not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are republican gun toters."
Geftman-Gold was responding on a Facebook thread about the mass shooting, the post stating "If they wouldn't do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that the Repugs will ever do the right thing."
FOX News says a spokesman for CBS told the network "this individual" violated company standards and called her views "unacceptable to all of us at CBS."
