Paraskevidekatriaphobia, you say? Why some Baltimoreans think Friday the 13th may be lucky

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- It's called paraskevidekatriaphobia. It's the fear of Friday the 13th.

While this can instill fear in some, many of the people at Pimlico Race Track on Friday say it has the opposite effect on Baltimore.

Many customers there this Friday the 13th said they are not superstitious. Sports fans pointed out Orioles' superstar Manny Machado wears number 13. The Ravens also won the Super Bowl in 2013. They say it may prove to be a lucky day at the race track as well.

FOX45 asked people what does scare them and these were some of their responses:

Some people say never own a gray horse.
I walk under ladders, black cats don't bother me.
Certain elevators don't have a 13th floor - I never understood any of that stuff.
