Baltimore City police say a 5-year-old girl has been shot in the 300 block of S. Pulaski Street in Southwest Baltimore.

The girl was shot twice, possibly in the head, and taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

She is reportedly in very critical condition, according to police.

Police say homicide detectives are handling the investigation, and people of interest are being questioned.
