Comment: I don't think it should go to a certain group of children. Children in school are in close quarters too. from baltimore md by kenneth
Comment: that's very unselfish, usually no cares about the homeless, thy probaby would'nt have gotten the vaccine any other way, from reisterstown,md by nat
Comment: When one thinks of Baltimore area this giving the first batch of H1N1 to the homless is normal. I can see why people are leaving the state. from Chestertown,Md by Bill
Comment: There are many of us who have the opportunity to receive medical care if we become infected with H1N1 but the homeless cannot and could potentially infect many people. from Windsor Mill, MD by Michelle
Comment: The schools and pedatricians should be the first ones to be getting the first batch. We need to keep our kids safe, esp since it seems that the kids are the ones who get sick the most and easiest from Westminster,MD by Gretchen
Comment: First doses, since limited quantities are obviously going to be available, should definitely be provided to first level health care workers!! DUHHHH Are we being stupid here??? from Belcamp, MD by Mary
Comment: It is too often that law abiding tax paying citizens have to take the back seat to things that we help fund. from Baltimore by Avril
Comment: The first priority should always be the health care workers, ie doctors & nurses. Even the support staff in a hospital should be a higher priority. The vaccine is not a guarantee. We need doctors and nurses to care for those who are afflicted. I would love to know how this decision was made! from White Hall, MD by Janet
Comment: Why not. They are usually the last to get anything, so let make it easy this time. from catonsville by Dan
Comment: Though I understand where the concern for our homeless comes from regarding the H1N1 I think Baltimore County's number one concern should be children and those who work with children.
Comment: I agree with the decision because the homeless need to be protected as well as those who have homes. There should be no rejection of this despite where you live or don't live. from Baltimore, Maryland by Rodney
Comment: They have to test the vaccine on
somebody don't they? from Belcamp by Michael
Comment: Whatever happened to equality for all? Let everyone wait the same. from Pasadena, Md. by Tony
Comment: I also don't think they should
be giving the H1N1 in mist
form, to those in the medical
field. People with chronic
health/immune disorders are
then put at risk when they go
to see their doctors, etc. I
can't let my children get the
mist version of either the flu
or H1N1 because I have a
compromised immune. If
anything, give them the real
stuff...they are there to help
us... from Abingdon by Ali
