Baltimore Hosts Ravens Send Off Rally at Inner Harbor

Updated: Monday, January 28 2013, 07:12 PM EST
The cold and wet weather was no match for Ravens fans.  On Monday a sea of purple and back flooded Baltimore's Amphitheater as well as surrounding balconies and store fronts.  Even before the players arrived, there was dancing, chanting, and of course cheering.

"We're going to the Super Bowl.  Super Bowl bound.  Super Bowl 47.  We're gonna make history."

Once the team arrived the cheers were deafening.  Number 52 was the first to address the swelling crowds, followed by Head Coach John Harbaugh.

"There is no Ravens without you guys," said Ray Lewis.  "We did this in 2000 and we're not going to New Orleans for nothing else but to bring back a ring to Baltimore."

"We have the best fans in the world, " said John Harbaugh.

Ed Reed lead the team out of the amphitheater but first asked everyone to join together to show Baltimore pride.

"1, 2, 3, Baltimore," said Ed Reed.  Everyone followed Reed's lead and cheered on the Ravens as they left the amphitheater, headed to Super Bowl victory.
