Harbaugh Addresses Press After 3 Straight Losses

Updated: Tuesday, November 5 2013, 10:09 AM EST

It was another week and another tough loss for the Baltimore Ravens. It was the first time since 2007 they lost to the Browns. Also, their first loss to Cleveland under head coach John Harbaugh.

It was a mix of first half offensive struggles, the defense failing to stop Jason Campbell on the final drive, and most notably the lack of a running game.

Ray Rice carried the ball 11 times for only 17 yards. Joe Flacco had 25 yards rushing to lead the team. In their three-game losing streak, the Ravens have failed to rush for more than 100 yards in any game.

Rice’s stat line is even more anemic. The Ravens’ All-Pro running back has carried the ball 40 times for just 96 yards over that period. That’s an average of just 2.4 yards per touch, compared to his first five seasons of 4.5 yards.

In John Harbaugh’s Monday press conference, he stressed that he there is still a lot of football yet to be played. “There’s half the season left to play, and there’s going to be a lot of football played. And there are a lot of games out there for us to win. We need to go stack some wins, and it’s all about this next game, which obviously, Cincinnati is leading the division. So, this is an opportunity for us.”
