Hill out at Morgan State

Updated: Monday, November 25 2013, 06:58 PM EST

Late Monday came word that Morgan State has decided to fire its head football coach after 12 years on the job.

Hill had to have seen this coming. Last November, he accidentally received an email that outlined the school's plan to replace him.

He sat in limbo for months before Morgan decided to honor the final year of his contract.

Despite all that, this year's squad still managed a 5-7 record, but it wasn't enough.

Hill was to learn his fate December 11th in a meeting with university president David Wilson, but the school decided to dispense with all that, publicly announcing Hill's firing on Monday.

A former assistant with the CFL's Baltimore Stallions, Hill had a record of 59-76 over the last 12 seasons.
