Ravens Get To Work On Bye Week-Morgan Adsit

Updated: Tuesday, October 22 2013, 02:33 PM EDT

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- The Baltimore Ravens won't get much rest during their bye week.

Coach John Harbaugh will run practice sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday before sending the team home, in accordance with NFL rules.

The defending Super Bowl champions have much to work on. Three of their four defeats have come by a total of eight points, their running game has not yet gotten on track and the defense was inconsistent in Sunday's 19-16 loss in Pittsburgh.

With a 3-4 record, the Ravens trail AFC North-leader Cincinnati by two games.

Asked if the bye came at the right time, Harbaugh said Monday, "Yeah, it's going to be an opportunity to improve, certainly."

The Ravens, who traded left tackle Bryant McKinnie to Miami on Monday, next play on Nov. 3 in Cleveland.
