Ravens receive four compensatory picks

Updated: Monday, March 24 2014, 06:59 PM EDT
The Ravens have received four compensatory picks for the upcoming NFL draft.

The losses of Dannell Ellerbe, Paul Kruger, Cary Williams and Ed Reed garnered the draft choices.

They get one 3rd round pick (99th overall), two 4th round picks (134th and 138th) and one 5th round selection (175th).

The Ravens now have eight total picks in the draft: one in the first, one in the second, two in the third, two in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the sixth.

They do not have a seventh round selection. Miami sent a seventh rounder to the Ravens for Bryant McKinnie but that will be for the 2015 draft.

Their 41 compensatory selections since the league implemented the system in 1994 are the most in the NFL.
