Ex-Ravens RB Ray Rice makes a surprise appearance in Baltimore
BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF)--- Former Ravens running back Ray Rice made a surprise visit to Baltimore this weekend. Rice displayed his basketball game skills and support for friend, former Ravens receiver Torrey Smith, in Smith's 6th annual charity basketball game at Royal Farms Arena.
Rice has not played in a NFL game since December of 2013. The Ravens released him in 2014 after his domestic violence incident with his now wife. Rice was arrested and two videos were released from that night. After the second video was released, the Ravens cut their ties with Rice. He's been out of the league since, with no opportunity to return to play. Rice continues to train and is still hopeful for a comeback.
He had this to say on why he's not in the NFL today.
