O's Prospect Mullins on Fire in Bowie

Orioles Prospect and Bowie Baysox CF, Cedric Mullins

BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF)--- Cedric Mullins is doing all the right things to make his dream come true of one day playing in "The Show" with the Baltimore Orioles. Mullins has only watched his stock rise in his two years in the Orioles minor league system since getting drafted in the 13th round in 2015. Right now, Mullins is ranked as the O's 19th best prospect.

So solid from last season and out of spring training in 2017, that Mullins skipped High-A ball in Frederick and joined the Baysox at the start of this season in Bowie. The outfielder who's playing center this season is 22-years-old.

Mullins is currently batting .375 through 13 games with 10 extra base hits and four homeruns. Mullins was named Eastern League Player of the Week this week, he leads the league in hits (21), runs (16) and extra base hits.

He's originally from the Atlanta, Georgia area and played college baseball Campbell University.
