WBFF :: H1N1 Outbreak

HURLBURT FIELD - It has been confirmed that four Hurlburt Field Airmen have swine flu.

59 others have symptoms consistent with those of the virus.

A majority of those affected work within one work center and all were required to return to their homes to recuperate.

People who have had close contact with those affected by swine flu have been informed of the outbreak and have been evaluated and treated.

Medical personnel have categorized the illness as non-serious and the Hurlburt Field mission has not been affected.

To avoid contracting swine flu, people are encouraged to wash their hands frequently; cover their nose and moth when they cough or sneeze; use hand sanitizer and if possible avoid contact with those who are sick.Four Swine Flu Cases at Hurlburt Field
