BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in Northwest Baltimore on Tuesday afternoon. 

At approximately 12:14 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of White Oak Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once at the location, officers located a 59-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
