4-8" of snow expected in Maryland

    MARYLAND (WBFF) As snow makes its way throughout Maryland, 4-8" is expected between Saturday night and Sunday evening.

    Anne Arundel, Howard, Carroll, Baltimore County and Baltimore City are under a winter storm warning, along with Caroline, Queen Anne and Talbot Counties.

    Meteorologist Ashley Kramlich says that light snow will blanket the area for the rest of the afternoon. The snow will really start to accumulate later Saturday night as the system closes in on the Mid-Atlantic.

    As of 10:00 p.m., the radar is indicating a line of more moderate snow moving over Frederick, Westminster, down towards Howard County and the district. The heaviest snowfall is expected to fall Saturday night into Sunday morning.

    Road conditions will continue to deteriorate later into the evening.
