7 injured after car runs red light, strikes MTA bus and several other vehicles
Seven people were transported with non-life threatening injuries, after a multi-vehicle accident in Baltimore's Charles Village area.
Officials say the accident happened around 7:30 Sunday morning on the corner of E. 28th Street and St. Paul Street.
MTA spokesman Paul Shepard says, a car ran a red light, struck an MTA bus, which in turn struck at least 6 other vehicles.
The driver of the striking vehicle was issued several citations, including proceeding through a red signal, according to officials.
On Friday, 12 people were injured after a crash involving an MTA bus in west Baltimore.
MTA police continue to investigate both crashes.
