7 SHOT | Woman dies in a quadruple shooting after a dispute

(WBFF) -- Baltimore police are investigating after seven people were shot overnight, including an unidentified woman who was shot and killed early Friday morning.

On Friday morning at approximately 3:13 a.m., a citizen flagged down a patrol officer to respond to a residence in the 1600 block of East 29th Street.

Officers in Northeastern District discovered an unidentified deceased female suffering from gunshot wounds inside the location.

Two additional victims suffering from gunshot wounds were also located at the residence. A 23-year-old male and a female yet to be identified, both were transported to area hospitals.

Moments later, a 22-year-old female that lives at the East 29th Street residence walked into an area hospital, also in need of treatment for gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives were summoned to the location and assumed control of the investigation. Investigators learned that officers had been at the location at 11:40 p.m., on August 29, 2019, in reference to a dispute.

On Thursday night at approximately 9:19 p.m. and 9:46 p.m., police were dispatched to area hospitals to investigate walk-in shooting victims seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

Officers arrived at the hospitals and observed a 21-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and a 18-year-old male shot in the shoulder.

Both victims stated that they were in the 900 block of Poplar Grove Street when they heard gunfire and were wounded.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Investigators discovered evidence that a shooting had taken place at the Poplar Grove Street location.

Moments later at approximately 9:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Augusta Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers arrived at the location and observed a 18-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
