    93-Year-Old Dies in NW Baltimore Fire

    BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- City Fire Officials announce the death of an elderly man, who was found unconscious inside of a burning home. On Wednesday, January 9, just after 9:30 p.m., Baltimore City Firefighters responded to the 3800 block of Pall Mall Road for the report of a fire. Once firefighters arrived on the scene, smoke was showing from the second floor of a 2-story rowhome

    As firefighters entered the home and during their primary search, they found the unconscious 93-year-old man on the second floor.

    Firefighters immediately pulled him from the home and began performing CPR.

    Shortly after, he was transported to an area hospital in cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.


    The 93-year-old man has yet to be identified and the cause of death will be determined by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

    The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
