Baltimore-area couple arrested after attempted robbery at Annapolis police station
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WBFF) - Annapolis Police arrested a man and a woman Friday after they tried to commit a robbery right in front of their police station.
A man was driving at around 4:30 p.m. when he noticed the vehicle behind him was following him.
The victim believes he was followed from Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore, said Annapolis police.
He decided to drive to the Annapolis Police station on Taylor Avenue. The other car pulled up behind him. Police say that is when the woman driving it pulled a handgun on the man.
The man ran inside the station and got an officer's attention.
Officers ran out and stopped the woman, 23-year-old Breiya Evans of Owings Mills, and another man, 25-year-old Patrick Palmer of Baltimore.
Inside the car, they found a BB gun made to look like a real gun and 13 baggies of marijuana.
Both suspects were arrested. Evans was released after posting a $5,000 bond. Palmer is still at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
