Baltimore Ceasefire calls for violence-free weekend
BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Happening today, another Baltimore Ceasefire begins after a violent month.
Police say, 34 people were killed in the city in October alone.
Witnesses say, there was an argument before 13-year-old, Montrell Mouzon was shot and killed. This incident unfolded around 9 p.m. on Halloween night at Hollins Ferry Road and West Patapsco Avenue.
The 13-year-old was just one of 263 homicides in Baltimore, so far this year.
The Baltimore Ceasefire is calling for a murder-free weekend.
The organization is hosting events, encouraging Baltimoreans to stop the violence. Ceasefire weekends are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays on the first weekend of the month of February, August, November and Mother’s Day weekend.
