BALTIMORE CEASEFIRE | Homicide Sunday morning; organizers to 'pause' at the site
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A woman found killed near west Baltimore's Penn-North area Sunday morning is prompting Baltimore Ceasefire weekend to take a "pause."
City police said a woman was found dead on Francis Street at Whitelock Street at about 5:30 a.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The organizers of Baltimore Ceasefire, which runs through Sunday, said they will pause at the site at 2 p.m. to reflect.
"Dear Baltimore, We have lost our Sister today. This is tragic news, and right now, we must pause to feel her loss. We will show up to honor her light. Join us!" said Ceasefire organizers on social media.
