Baltimore State's Attorney candidate challenges Mosby's handling of high-profile cases
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - There's another sign that the race for Baltimore City State's Attorney is heating up.
Family members of the victims in a number of high-profile murder cases gathered in east Baltimore today, explaining they are endorsing candidate Thiru Vignarajah and are not happy with how State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby handled the case of their loved ones.
Vignarajah also took issue with Mosby's claims that she has a conviction rate of more than 90 percent.
At the same time as Thiru Vignarajah's news conference, Mosby announced she was holding her own news conference.
She said she would be putting out information about how cases are handled on her website.
Mosby says the information will include a new category of cases that are affected by what she called "police credibility."
