BALTIMORE (WBFF) - After years of complaints, the Hanover Street Bridge is getting a facelift.
The city shut down the bridge at 8 p.m. Friday to begin resurfacing all lanes of the bridge.
Motorists have complained for years about the crumbling surface.
“The potholes are so big, your whole wheel can fit in it,” said motorist Melvin Ross.
The city plans to reopen the bridge before rush hour Monday morning.
However, some motorists remain skeptical.
“It’s good that they’re going to do that, but make sure it’s going to last,” said Ross.
