BPD: 'Large amount' of fentanyl found on Charles Street
BALTIMORE (WBFF) - A major drug bust was reported Tuesday in north Baltimore.
There was a heavy presence of police and fire crews near the intersection of Charles Street and 22nd Street in Charles Village.
Police say they recovered a large amount of suspected fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, at the location.
Fentanyl is often much more dangerous than heroin, with even small amounts potentially causing overdose if inhaled.
There was no word yet on any arrests in the Charles Street incident.
