BREAKING: Homicide in Northeast Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- After eleven days without a murder in Baltimore City, homicide detectives are investigating a murder in Northeast Baltimore.
Police were called to Elmley Ave near Chesterfield Ave around 1:15pm Tuesday. When officers arrived they found a 22-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.
Homicide units were called due to the severity of his injuries.
He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he died at 1:45pm.
The victim has not been identified. There's no word on a suspect or motive.
The homicide scene is two blocks away from an elementary school.
