CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Police Involved Shooting Caught on Camera

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Baltimore City Police released camera footage that shows robbery suspects firing on police officers overnight.

A 7-11 on Saratoga Street was being robbed around 1:30am, by two suspects when a Citiwatch camera operator saw the robbery in progress.

Officers arrived on the scene quickly and when they attempted to go in the store, one suspect fired.

Officers returned gunfire, that exchange was caught on body worn camera.

Police announced a $24,000 reward for information leading to the suspects.

T.J. Smith from the Baltimore Police Department told reporters, " Two bad guys didn’t give a crap who they were going to shoot...It’s a blessing an officer was not hurt."

Police say they don't know if either of the suspects were injured during the exchange.
