    COUNTY CRIME | Carjacking in Pikesville while victim was clearing snow

    BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Recent crimes in Baltimore County and Howard County include a Columbia car chase that ended with several cars being struck, and a carjacking in Pikesville while the victim was clearing snow off the car.

    Four suspects approached the victim "while they were warming up their car and clearing off snow" on Colonial Road at Alden Road in Pikesville at 4:35 a.m. Jan. 14, according to Baltimore County police reports.

    One of the suspects struck the victim with an unknown object. One of the suspects then got in the victim's car and left, while the three other suspects left in a second car.

    In Columbia, at 11:08 a.m. on Jan. 16, a Hyattsville man was arrested after fleeing from police and crashing into several parked cars, according to Howard County police reports.

    Robert Charles Davis, 29, of Floral Drive, is accused of fleeing police at Route 175 and Thunder Hill Road when they tried to make a traffic stop.

    Davis allegedly struck several unoccupied, parked vehicles before fleeing on foot. No one was injured.

    In Catonsville, two homeless people were arrested after they were found in the storage unit of an apartment complex.

    Police were called to Melvin Park Apartments, on Suter Road at Old Frederick Road, for a burglary, at 8:36 a.m. Jan. 16.

    The officer found the two homeless suspects sleeping in a storage unit.

    In Parkville, a Royal Farms store was robbed at knifepoint Wednesday evening.

    A suspect robbed the store, on Taylor Avenue at Old Harford Road, at 11 p.m. Jan. 16. The suspect got cash and cigarettes before fleeing.
