BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) -- A Fox45 Investigation links Detective Sean Suiter to the drug kingpin whose own case brought down a team of Baltimore police officers.
Antonio Shropshire stood trial in October with four co-defendants. A jury found all five guilty on federal drug charges.
The Shropshire drug ring became the focus of a federal investigation that eventually exposed officer misconduct and led to the downfall of the BPD Gun Trace Task Force.
Prosecutors note the dealing of heroin by Shropshire dated back to at least 2010.
During 2010, police arrested Shropshire twice.
One of the officers involved has since been brought up on federal charges.
Our investigation focuses on the other officer involved, Sean Suiter.
