Detectives believe homicide victim was shot while at gas station

BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Detectives believe a homicide victim was at a gas station Monday night when a suspect approached and shot him.

The man was pronounced deceased on the scene when officers arrived around 9 p.m., on West Baltimore Street near N Hilton Street.

"Detectives believe the victim was at the gas station in the block, when he was approached by an unknown suspect who shot him," police wrote in a release.

Investigators did not locate a suspect.

Police say the victim, 26-year-old Jamie Christian, had more than one gunshot wound to his body.
