DUNDALK, Md. (WBFF) - Do you think Dundalk is filled with caring people?
The Baltimore County suburb has been voted Maryland's most caring city, based on the number of residents employed as caregivers, firefighters and other caring professions.
The ranking was done by the website Insurify.com, a car-insurance shopping platform.
Insurify rated the "most caring city" in each state by analyzing more than 1.5 million car insurance applications to find the cities with the highest proportion of caregivers, counselors, firefighters, hospice volunteers, nurse practitioners, paramedics, doctors, teachers, therapists and social workers.
Wilmington, for example, was rated most caring in Delaware, and Pittsburgh most caring in Pennsylvania.
"The cities with the highest overall proportion of all of these people were then selected for all U.S. states where enough data was available," said Insurify in a statement about the ranking.
