Two shot in Dundalk home invasion, gunman at large

DUNDALK (WBFF)-- Two men are recovering from gunshot wounds after being shot inside their home in Dundalk. Baltimore County police are investigating, as the search for the gunman continues.

Police say they got the burglary call Wednesday afternoon at about 1:15 p.m. Investigators say somehow a man with a gun entered the home. Once inside the house, the intruder saw two men.

Investigators say the suspect showed his gun, and the residents then fought back. That's when police say the suspect shot the men and ran away.

It was an active daytime crime scene, as neighbors watched from their windows, stunned by what they saw.

"That's crazy that this happened so close, right across the street from me," said Corey Biscotti, who had just arrived home from work as police worked the crime scene.

"I know it's not the greatest neighborhood, but you don't expect to hear people getting shot and robbed around here and stuff like that," said Biscotti.

Police say it's not clear if the men knew each other. All of that is still under investigation.

Police did not disclose where on the body the victims were shot. Both are expected to survive.

No suspect information has been released.
