Eastern Shore fire caused by people cooking suspected illegal drugs
GREENSBORO, Md. (WBFF) - A shed on the Eastern Shore was destroyed by people cooking suspected illegal drugs, reported the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office.
The shed fire was reported at 1:20 p.m. Thursday on Bernard Avenue in Greensboro, Caroline County, according to a notice of investigation.
One person in the house fled the scene but was later found and arrested, said the Fire Marshal's office.
An occupant in the home suffered a minor burn but refused treatment.
The fire caused an estimated $2,000 in total damage.
Fifteen firefighters spent about 20 minutes getting it under control.
