Five arrested on handgun charges within 36 hour period in Baltimore

BALTIMORE -- WBFF -- Baltimore Police say that five people were arrested on handgun charges within a 36 hour period in the city.

According to authorities, at noon on Tuesday, officers from the Mobile Metro Unit pulled over a car in the 1300 block of Presstman Street.

During the traffic stop, officers reportedly recovered a loaded handgun and drugs from the car. The handgun had been previously reported stolen in Georgia.

19-year-old Romil Jackson was arrested at the scene. He was transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility.

On Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., officers were on patrol when they pulled over a car in the 1800 block of Ramsay Street. The officers recovered two loaded handguns, ammunition and drugs from the car.

26-year-old Michael Stewart and 33-year-old Brandon Lee were arrested at the scene. They were transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility.

On Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., officers were on patrol when they pulled over a car in the 1700 block of McHenry Street. During the traffic stop, officers recovered a loaded handgun.

20-year-old Terrence Myers and 19-year-old Terrick Myers were both arrested at the scene. They were transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility.
