Flood warning issued for parts of MD

MARYLAND -- WBFF -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for parts of Maryland, on Saturday.

The warning was issued for southern Anne Arundel County, parts of Calvert, Prince George's and Charles County, Maryland until 11:30 p.m.

A flood warning was also issued for Frederick and Montgomery County until 12:30 a.m., Sunday.

A flood warning has been issued for Baltimore City until midnight on Sunday. A flood warning for Howard County reportedly started after 10:15 and will last until 10:30 p.m.

There have been reports of flooding on Defense Highway, near Saint Stephens Road, in Crownsville.

Ongoing showers are expected to continue throughout the evening with accumulations reaching up to three inches in some spots.

People are advised not to drive through standing water.
