Gay Conversion Therapy: A Personal Story

BALTIMORE (WBFF)-- Governor Hogan signed into law more than 200 bills enacted by the General Assembly.

One prohibits health professionals from practicing gay conversion therapy on minors.

As the youngest member of the general assembly, Delegate Meagan Simonaire, rarely speaks publicly. But, she was more than willing to talk about a bill just signed by Governor Hogan that's dear to her heart.

It would ban conversion therapy for minors it's a medically-discredited practice which aims to convert someone from gay to straight.

John Rydell has the personal story of a young delegate who fought to get that bill passed.
