GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) -- Police are searching for a suspect after the robbery of a 1st Mariner Bank on Crain Highway South.

Investigators say the suspect entered the bank around 2 p.m. on March 2 and announced a robbery, implying that he had a weapon. According to police the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a white male, of unknown age and of medium height.

The Maryland Association for Bank Security, (MABS), is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject responsible.
